This is a fantastic opportunity to use your assembly skills whilst developing your career within the electronics industry.\n\nWhat's in it for you?\n\n£14.24 per hour\nNo weekend working\nFree Parking & Easy transport links \nTemp to Perm opportunity \nSupportive & experienced team\nClean, modern manufacturing environment\nOngoing training & development\n\nThe Role\n\nAs a Cable Assembler, you'll play a key role in producing high-quality electronic assemblies to customer specifications, ensuring excellent workmanship & attention to detail throughout the manufacturing process.\n\nYou'll be responsible for:\n\nAssembling PCB & cable assemblies to engineering drawings & work instructions\nCarrying out visual inspections of completed assemblies\nIdentifying assembly defects including soldering faults & wiring discrepancies\nUsing microscopes, hand tools & measuring equipment\nReading engineering drawings, schematics & bills of materials\nRecording production & quality documentation accurately\nWorking closely with Production, Engineering & Quality teams\nMaintaining high housekeeping & health & safety standards\n\nWhat we're looking for\n\nTo be successful in this Cable Assembler role in Waterlooville, Hampshire, you'll ideally have:\n\nPrevious experience assembling PCB or cable assemblies\nExperience within an electronics manufacturing environment\nAbility to read engineering drawings & wiring diagrams\nExcellent attention to detail\nGood manual dexterity & soldering experience\nExperience using inspection equipment such as microscopes (desirable)\nIPC certification or similar (advantageous)\nA positive attitude & strong team-working skillsIf you're looking for your next opportunity as a Cable Assembler in Waterlooville, Hampshire, we'd love to hear from you.
