HR Administrator

Job Description

Part time Maternity over - 6-12 months - 3 days a week, term time onlyFantastic opportunity to work in a busy HR team of a school. Our client would like a candidate who has experience of recruitment check, i.e. DBS checks etc.

You will need excellent attention to detail and enjoy working in a fast paced environment. You will provide administrative support to the team and undertake the tasks below:\n\nComplete template correspondence including, offer letters, contracts of employment, anniversary letters and meeting invitation letters.\nUpdate/ upload job adverts on the school website along and manage applications.\nSupport to running recruitment campaigns including candidate liaison, application packs, shortlisting and interview packs.\nMonitor the Careers in-box. \nProduce new starter goody bags.\nProcess DBS applications/Social Media checks.\nIssuing new starters passes and fobs.

g\nAssist with reports on HR data.\nProvide administrative support to the HR Officer, Training and Development as required\nUndertake filing, photocopying and other administrative tasks making full use of technology including scanning and electronic filing.\nEnter and maintain information onto the staff database (Arbor) and SharePoint ensuring staff records remain accurate and up to date.\nProduce the staff newsletter on a weekly basis.\nTake notes at HR related meetings as required.\nRespond to HR related queries from staff.The person:\n\nGood standard of education including GCSE level English and maths (or equivalent)\nCIPD certificate in HR practice (or working towards)\nA basic understanding of employment legislation\nPrevious experience of working in an administrative role\nExcellent IT skills including Microsoft Office\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nExcellent organisation skills\nExperience of accurate record keeping\nPrevious experience of working in a HR team\nExperience of HR databases would be helpfulIn return our client offers:\n\nFree on-site parking\nEye care and free flu vaccination voucher\nPrivate contributory healthcare scheme\nStaff awards and gift card nominations\nCycle to work scheme & IT equipment scheme (salary sacrifice)\nGym, food, entertainment, shopping and holiday discounts\nOn-site café\nFamily-friendly policies\nGenerous pension and life assurance schemes\nDiversity and inclusion & staff wellbeing groups\nContractual Sick Pay\nChristmas party and social events\nFree confidential mental health and wellbeing coaching and counselling services\nContinuous professional development and sponsorship for professional qualifications, apprenticeships and free training - opportunities for growth
