Maintenance Coordinator\nLocation: Various Norfolk Sites\nSalary: £14.96 per hour (£29,179 per annum)\nHours: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm\nDBS: Enhanced DBS required\nEleven 11 Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Maintenance Coordinator to join their Facilities team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced multi-skilled maintenance professional to join a busy and supportive environment, carrying out a variety of maintenance, repair and improvement works across multiple sites.\nThe successful candidate will play a key role in delivering responsive and planned maintenance services, ensuring properties are maintained to a high standard while meeting compliance, health and safety, and service performance expectations.\nKey Responsibilities\n•\tCarry out a range of multi-skilled maintenance tasks including carpentry, joinery, plumbing, painting and decorating across occupied and vacant properties.\n•\tComplete repairs, improvement works and support new building projects as required.\n•\tConduct inspections of properties to identify maintenance requirements and determine the most cost-effective solutions.\n•\tEnsure all works are completed to required quality standards and within health and safety procedures.\n•\tAccurately record works completed and update systems using handheld devices and tablets.\n•\tLiaise with colleagues, contractors and residents regarding maintenance activities and urgent works.\n•\tMaintain van stock levels to support efficient service delivery.\n•\tDrive and operate company maintenance vehicles safely and responsibly.\n•\tParticipate in an out-of-hours emergency call-out rota where required.\n•\tSupport wider teams with maintenance advice and guidance when necessary.\n•\tComplete all associated administration and maintain accurate records.\n•\tAttend team meetings, training sessions, one-to-one meetings and annual appraisals.\n•\tSupport a culture of safeguarding, inclusion and excellent customer service.\nRequirements\nEssential:\n•\tMinimum 3 years’ experience within a maintenance or similar environment.\n•\tExperience within multi-trade roles including joinery, building, plumbing, decorating or general maintenance.\n•\tGCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English.\n•\tRecognised apprenticeship or training in a relevant trade discipline.\n•\tFull UK driving licence and own transport.\n•\tStrong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, clients and contractors.\n•\tAbility to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities.\n•\tHigh levels of professionalism, honesty and integrity.\n•\tWillingness to work occasional unsociable hours if required.\nDesirable:\n•\tCity & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in a maintenance discipline.\n•\tKnowledge of hot and cold-water systems and basic electrical works.\n•\tUnderstanding of Health & Safety legislation and maintenance compliance requirements.\n•\tFirst Aid qualification.\nAdditional Information\nThe role may involve occasional evening or weekend work and participation in an emergency response rota.
