Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer\n\nLocation: Newton Aycliffe\nSalary: £41,500 per annum\nShift Pattern: 3 Shift Rotation (Monday-Friday)\n\nThe Role\n\nA leading manufacturing business based in Newton Aycliffe is looking to recruit a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join its established engineering team.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an electrically or mechanically biased engineer who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, carrying out both reactive and planned maintenance to ensure maximum machine uptime.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).\nRespond quickly to equipment breakdowns and minimise downtime.\nDiagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.\nWork on continuous improvement projects to increase reliability and efficiency.\nEnsure all maintenance work is completed safely and in line with company procedures.\nMaintain accurate maintenance records using the CMMS system.\nSupport production to maximise plant performance.\n\nRequirements\n\nRecognised Engineering Apprenticeship or Engineering Qualification (NVQ Level 3/C&G or equivalent).\nMulti-skilled with electrical and mechanical maintenance experience.\nPrevious experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.\nStrong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.\nPLC fault-finding experience would be advantageous.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\n\nWhat's on Offer?\n\nSalary of £41,500.\nMonday-Friday 3 Shift Pattern.\nStable, well-established manufacturing business.\nOngoing training and development opportunities.\nPension scheme.\nHoliday allowance.\nLong-term career progression.If you're a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for your next opportunity in Newton Aycliffe, we'd love to hear from you.
