\nWe are seeking a permanent Pupil Support Officer to join our busy school support team.
\nHours of work:
\nMonday - Thursday 08:30 - 15:45 (with 55 mins unpaid break)
\n Fridays - 08:30 - 13:35 (with 15 mins unpaid break)

\nThis is a six-year comprehensive school in the North West Locality of the City of Edinburgh Council. The catchment area of the school covers Queensferry, Dalmeny, Echline and Kirkliston Primary Schools, as well as St Margaret's RC Primary School at parent/carer request. A few years ago we moved into our brand new school with excellent new resources and commanding views of the Forth Estuary (including the three bridges). The school roll is over 1,200 and rising.

\nThis post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
