Solicitor - PI & Clin Neg

Our team is committed to achieving the best outcomes for our clients while providing compassionate support.\n\nThe successful candidate will handle a diverse caseload, including cases involving accidents at work, road traffic accidents, slips and trips, and medical negligence claims. The role will involve direct client contact, working with experts, managing a caseload from inception to completion, and negotiating settlements.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Managing and progressing own caseload of personal injury and clinical negligence claims\n\n * Take instructions from clients on all litigation matters on behalf of the Firm and subsequently assume responsibility for such work undertaken\n\n * Liaise with clients, third parties, and medical experts\n\n * Providing clear, timely advice to clients on liability, compensation, and other legal issues\n\n * Drafting legal documents, including claim forms, witness statements, and settlement agreements\n\n * Representing clients at hearings and mediations when necessary\n\n * Ensuring compliance with deadlines and regulatory requirements\n\n * From time to time to appropriately delegate litigation work to Trainee Solicitor and other junior staff employed by the firm. To supervise such work given and generally provide sufficient experience in such matters to satisfy Trainee’s training record\n\n * Maintaining high levels of client care and satisfaction\n\nRequired Skills and Qualifications:\n\n * An experienced Personal Injury/ Clinical Negligence Solicitor with 10 + years PQE\n\n * Strong knowledge of personal injury claims/ clinical negligence, including litigation and settlement negotiations\n\n * Knowledge of relevant legislation, protocols, and case law\n\n * Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills\n\n * Ability to work independently and as part of a team\n\n * A proactive, organised, and client-focused approach, with a commitment to delivering high standards\n\n * Excellent analytical and organisational skills\n\n * Ability to use own initiative and sound judgment\n\n * Excellent IT Skills -familiar with Microsoft Office applications and document management skills.\n\nWhat We Offer:\n\n * Competitive salary and benefits package.
