Warehouse Operative \n\n& Relief HGV Driver\n\nTemp to Perm Opportunity \n\nWe are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join a busy and well-established operation. This is a varied role offering a temp-to-perm opportunity, with the potential to move into a permanent position from day one for the right candidate.\n\nAlongside warehouse duties, there will be requirements to provide relief HGV driving cover, so this role would suit someone looking for a mix of hands-on warehouse work and driving responsibility.\n\nThe Role\n\nYou will play a key part in the day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring goods are received, stored, picked, and dispatched efficiently and accurately. You’ll also support delivery operations when required, helping to maintain a high level of service to customers.\n\nThis role offers a stable, full-time working pattern and the chance to become a valued member of a supportive team.\n\nWorking Hours\n\nMonday to Friday\n\n42.5 hours per week\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nUnloading and loading deliveries safely and efficiently\n\nReceiving and storing stock in the correct warehouse or yard locations\n\nPicking and preparing customer orders for dispatch\n\nLoading vehicles in line with delivery schedules\n\nSigning for deliveries and reporting any damages or discrepancies\n\nMaintaining accurate stock records\n\nKeeping the warehouse clean, organised, and safe\n\nCarrying out basic checks on forklifts and handling equipment\n\nSupporting stock takes and assisting with additional hours when required\n\nProviding relief HGV driving cover when needed\n\nAbout You\n\nPrevious experience in a warehouse or yard environment preferred\n\nHGV licence (class 2) (for relief driving duties) – essential\n\nValid forklift licence – desirable\n\nGood attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy\n\nBasic IT skills\n\nStrong understanding of health and safety practices\n\nFlexible, reliable, and proactive with a can-do attitude\n\nConfident communicator and able to work well within a team\n\nAble to work independently and take responsibility for tasks\n\nWhat’s on Offer\n\nSalary of £29,960 per annum\n\nTemp-to-perm opportunity with long-term career prospects\n\nPotential for immediate permanent employment for the right candidate\n\n25 days holiday plus bank holidays – once you have transferred to permanent contract\n\nAdditional benefits including pension, life assurance, and employee discounts\n\nSupportive working environment with opportunities to develop your skills\n\nWe would love to hear from you.  If you would like more information then please get in touch OR Click APPLY now
